The Acropolis of Athens is the most striking and complete Ancient Greek monumental complex still existing today. It is considered the universal symbol pf the classical spirits and civilization from Ancient Greek. In the second half of the fifth century BC, an exceptional group of artists transformed the rocky hill into a unique monument of thoughts and the arts. While the 2500 year old precious sculptures from the top of the Parthenon temple were removed and still in the British Museum today, Greece has repeatedly called for their return.
